Radio channels, effective Monday
April 27th on all daytime AMA calls. Channel 2 will be used
for all incoming apparatus requesting or getting their
orders from command and Channel 3 will be used strictly for
fire ground operations. Each department responding to a call
in one of the other daytime AMA districts needs to switch
over to Channel 2 while responding until you receive your
orders for that apparatus and manpower and then go to
Channel 3 for fire ground operations upon arrival. This is
to have the ability to monitor both the County Dispatch and
the Incident Command in case of responding orders being
downgraded, cancelled or changed in any fashion.
