  Early Intervention Program

The Early Intervention Program is a State wide voluntary program which provides support and services to children (Birth to age Three) with developmental disabilities and their families.

To be eligible for services, children must be less than three years of age and have either a confirmed disability or established developmental delay as defined by the State in one or more of the following areas of development: physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional and/or adaptive.

For the purpose of the Early Intervention Program, a developmental delay is a delay that has been measured by qualified personnel using appropriate diagnostic procedures and/or instruments and documents.

Referrals are accepted from multiple sources such as parents, family members, physicians and other sources.
