patient's value of life by providing these services in the most appropriate

Services
Available
Nursing: Comprehensive assessment
and intermittent visits by a registered nurse to provide care and teaching to
patient and family as ordered by a physician. LPN's may also provide
nursing treatments. IV services also provided.
Home
Health Aides: Assistance with personal care, exercises, and meal
preparation under the supervision of a nurse or therapist.
Physical
Therapy: Comprehensive assessment, assistance and instruction in exercise
programs to increase mobility and strength; instruction in the use of assistive
devices; and post-operative joint replacement treatment plans.
Occupational
Therapy: Training and instruction in activities of daily living and
use of adaptive equipment. Speech Therapy:
Evaluation and treatment of speech and language disorders, dysphagia and
swallowing disorders. Nutritionist: Nutritional evaluation and diet
teaching. Medical Social worker: Counseling and support for patients
and families for social, financial, and illness related issues.
Personal Care Aide: Assessment
for and supervision of personal care aide services provided through the
Washington County Department of Social services.
EISEP:
Supervision of personal care aide services through
the Washington County Office of the Aging.
